SPUD.ca is looking for a permanent, full-time Mainland Milk Delivery Driver for our Vancouver, BC location (1660 E Hastings Street).

We are growing and love to promote from within plus you will receive 20% off of all our cool, local products!


What you'll do

  • Drive around sunny (or rainy!) Vancouver, listening to your music and making deliveries in a timely and efficient manner
  • Deliver bulk quantities of dairy and other products to major grocery stores and independently owned grocery stores
  • Read delivery instructions carefully
  • Provide our customers with a great experience when they interact with you! You are the face of the company, we receive a ton of positive feedback about our wonderful drivers! 
  • Be happy working with limited supervision
  • Take initiative and be willing to assist others as necessary, be happy to roll up your sleeves and get the job done
  • Complete driver checklist accurately and legibly
  • Write credits to customers who have been shorted product

 

Our compensation package consists of

  • Wage dependant on previous experience driving 3 tonne trucks or larger
  • 20% discount on all of our products on spud.ca
  • Extended Health Care Benefits (after 90 days) including: massage therapy, acupuncture, naturopath, physiotherapy, psychologist, chiropractor, 80% dental and prescriptions covered, life insurance, travel insurance, discounted eye exam- and more!
  • Two weeks' vacation for one year of employment (4% accrual)

What you'll need

  • A Class 5 Driver’s License, and clean driving record for the past 5 years.
  • Ability to comfortably drive a 3-tonne Hino around Vancouver, in all types of weather, displaying excellent driving skills. 
  • Familiarity with surrounding areas is preferred.
  • A warm and engaging personality, displaying exceptional customer service!
  • Willingness to work flexible hours and do other pick-ups as required
