SPUD.ca is hiring a Full-time Grocery Stocker for our Vancouver, BC head office (1660 E Hastings Street). 


The shifts we are hiring for are:

  • Monday- Friday 1:00- 9:30 pm
  • Sunday-Thursday 1:00- 9:30 pm
  • Tuesday- Saturday Sunday-Thursday 1:00- 9:30 pm

What you'll do

  • Ensure that product shelves are fully stocked with available product, throughout the day.
  • Assist receivers in managing inbound inventory orders.
  • Organization and cleaning of freezers, coolers and overstock areas.
  • Ensure proper rotation of perishable products.
  • Maintain order and cleanliness, through proper management of packaging waste.
  • Assist in managing inventory waits, with a goal towards reducing the need for order shorts & substitutions.
  • Assist in investigation of inventory inconsistencies.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Our compensation package consists of

  • $13.35 per hour as per the Collective Agreement. This increases to $13.60 after the probationary period and $14.85 after a year of employment). 
  • 20% discount

  • Vacation accrual of 4 %

What you'll need

  • Experience in a warehouse setting and/or within the grocery industry would be terrific!
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs comfortably, and be on your feet throughout the day.
  • Ability to work comfortably in a cooler all day.
  • Ability to be punctual, and reliable. 
  • Ability to make quick quality decisions.
  • Team spirit and willingness to work together.
  • Enthusiasm, energy, and a positive attitude! 
  • Interest in joining a fun loving, fast moving company.
