    SPUD.CA is looking for a full-time, permanent Product Onboarding Assistant. This position is based out of our Vancouver head office (1660 E Hastings Street). This position is Sunday- Thursday.

    Duties & Responsibilities

    • Enter the required data for new products into our system, including:
      • Food miles- distance from vendor to SPUD
      • Cost and SRP
      • Category and sub-category
      • Tagging photos to the appropriate SKU code
    • Communicate with vendors to ensure we receive the required information needed to onboard their products
    • Ensure co-op agreements are finalized before a new product launches
    • Ensure demo (reatil stores) and sampling (online SPUD locations) agreements are finalized before a new product launches 
    • Working with the Director to ensure that all products and vendors are listed within the Marketing Grid and Product Marketing spreadsheets, with a marketing plan to build sales and momentum of new product
    • Coordinate credit applications and new vendor onboarding paperwork for the Accounts Payable team 
    • Additonal duties as required

    Qualifications & Requirements

    • Sound knowledge of the Office Suite, especially Excel.
    • Extreme attention to every minor detail is critical.
    • Ability to communicate in an effective and professional manner externally (with our vendors), and internally (cross-functionally with our teams) 
    • Warm and engaging personality.
    • Passion and knowledge for food, particularly local and organic.


    • $30-35,000 per annum, based on experience.
    • 20 % discount.
    • Extended health care benefits (after the 90 day probationary period).
    • 4% vacation accrual (2 weeks’ accrued after 1 year of employment).
