    SPUD.CA is looking for a full-time, permanent Junior Financial Analyst (Supply Chain) based out of our Vancouver head office (1660 E Hastings Street). This position is Monday- Friday during business hours.

    Duties & Responsibilities

    • Support vital Supply Chain functions by mining, transforming, and visualizing data from a financial perspective
    • Cost modelling of productive processes, focused on measuring the efficiency of employed resources
    • Design metrics and performance indicators specific to various business processes, requirements, and key decision points
    • Complete daily, weekly, and monthly reports, for both internal companies and external partners
    • Periodic budgeting, forecasting, and review of financial and operational results
    • Work on diverse software project teams and support the maintenance of a strong data infrastructure
    • Support executive deliberation of financial information and communicate results to a variety of audiences
    • Monitor data accuracy and rectify validation issues
    • You’ll have a tremendous ability to impact the company. There are no corporate blockades to prevent new ideas from being implemented – We want new ideas!

    Qualifications & Requirements

    • Undergraduate degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, or related field
    • Previous experience as an analyst (or similar operations role) is an asset
    • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel & Microsoft Access (lookup functions, PowerPivot, PowerQuery, Data Mining)
    • Prior experience with ERP systems and BI reporting tools (Tableau, PowerBI, Crystal Reports)
    • Fundamental knowledge of SQL (MySQL, SSMS), knowledge of database design a major asset
    • A high degree of critical thinking, analytical, and computation skills
    • The desire to work in an entrepreneurial company that is progressing quickly and paving the way in e-commerce
