    SPUD.CA is looking for permanent Trike/Delivery Driver based out of our Vancouver, BC office/warehouse (1660 E Hastings Street). This shift is Tuesday - Saturday.

    Duties & Responsibilities

    The Trike/Delivery Driver, reports into the Vancouver Delivery Manager. They have a combined position, of driving the Delivery Trike, making deliveries of customer grocery orders across Vancouver, and working closely with our Business Development Team, to support them with their "trike lunch pop ups" (aka popular areas in Kits, downtown Van, Railtown, Mount Pleasant, etc. where we will set up the trike and our team sells pre-packaged, healthy, on the go meals of our Be Fresh Local Market brand). 


    This individual would also act as a regular Delivery Driver, making grocery deliveries in our SPUD.CA vans, to commercial and residential customers.


    The delivery aspect consists of- 

    • Driving around sunny (or rainy!) Vancouver, listening to your music and making deliveries in a timely and efficient manner.
    • Reading delivery instructions carefully, especially where to leave bins.
    • Picking up any empty bins, cryomats, ice packs, etc. and put them in the designated areas of the warehouse, at the end of the delivery.
    • Providing our customers with a great experience when they interact with you! You are the face of the company, we receive a ton of positive feedback about our wonderful drivers! 
    • Being happy working with limited supervision in a role where you will directly impact our community. 
    • Taking initiative and be willing to assist others as necessary, be happy to roll up your sleeves and get the job done.
    • Completing driver checklist accurately and legibly.

    What the heck is a trike? It's an awesome, motorized bike that we make deliveries on! See pictures below. 





    Qualifications & Requirements

    • A Driver’s License, and clean driving record for the past 5 years.
    • Experience driving larger vehicles (think Mercedes Sprinter) since you will be required to also drive our SPUD vans.
    • Ability to comfortably drive around Vancouver, in all types of weather, displaying excellent driving skills. 
    • Familiarity with surrounding areas is preferred.
    • A warm and engaging personality, displaying exceptional customer service!
    • Must be able to lift up to 50lbs, our customers love their bins of groceries! 
    • Willingness to work flexible hours and do other pick-ups as required.


    • $15.50 per hour starting wage
