    SPUD.CA is looking for a full-time Recruitment Assistant (Co-op) based out of our new head office located at 5566 Trapp Avenue, Burnaby. This is a 4 month Co-op for a current Human Resources student beginning in January 2019.

    Duties & Responsibilities

    • Work with Hiring Managers to understand their recruitment needs
    • Post positions in the Applicant Tracking System and on external job boards, as needed
    • Filter through applicants and short list candidates
    • Conduct pre-screening phone interviews
    • Coordinate in-person interviews for Hiring Managers
    • Conduct reference checks
    • Issue offer letters and new hire paperwork for successful candidates
    • Other duties and projects as assigned

    Qualifications & Requirements

    • Must be a current student enrolled in a Human Resources post-secondary education program
    • Available for a full-time Co-op for 4 months beginning in January 2019
    • 1+ years of administrative experience preferred
    • Basic understanding of Employment Standards Legislation is an asset 
    • High degree of professionalism and confidentiality
    • Strong computer skills
    • Excellent attention to detail
    • Demonstrated relationship building and time management skills
    • Highly developed communication skills (written and verbal)
    • Able to work autonomously and be a self-starter

    Compensation

    • Compensation TBA
